Купеческий дом 1908 года
The house in the 25 Sovetskaya street was built in 1908 by the merchant Zakharii Grigorevich Kriukov at the corner of Kabinetskaya (Sovetskaya) and Tobizenovskaya (Maksima Gorkogo) streets. The basement and the first floor were managed by him, and the second floor was rented by the Public Assembly of the city of Novonikolayevsk. Later, the Public Assembly rented the first floor, which housed a large auditorium with a stage.
In 1912 Public Assembly was closed, the "Grand Electric Theater "Diana" was opened in its hall since June 1913, and there was the hotel on the second floor of the building. Later Z.G. Kriukov renamed his cinema into "The Best", and it existed until 1918.
During the Civil War, the headquarters of various military units of the Red and White Armies were deployed at this house.
The important stage of the activity of the Siberian Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party(б), which lasted during the period from June 6, 1921 till November 1923, is associated with this building. The Siberian Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party(б) located on the second floor of the house.
From 1921 to 1922, Emelian Mikhailovich Iaroslavskii (Minei Izrailevich Gubelman, 1878-1943), an active figure of the Communist Party and the Soviet Union, publicist and prominent worker of the ideological front, who served as Secretary of the Siberian Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party(б) in 1919-1921, worked in the building.
Currently, the building is occupied by the restaurant "La Maison" and wine boutique "Cabinet".
