Аптека № 2
The oldest (from existing one at the present moment) urban drug store of the city of Novosibirsk is considered to be the Drug store No. 2. The building was recognized as an architectural monument of regional importance on December 29, 2001.
This is an interesting example of an apartment house, made in the forms of eclectic architecture. The building, built in the early XX century, is located in the historical center of the city. It records the crossing of the Red (Nikolayevsky) avenue with Chaplygina street (Asinkritovskaya). The building belonged to Nadezhda Vladimirovna Buzolina. There were shops on the first floor. In 1913, by the decision of the City Duma, the "Free drug store" was opened there. In 1985, the internal reconstruction of the drug store was carried out, and in 1999-2000, the facade was overhauled, in which the original appearance of the building was restored.
