Museum of Living Antiquity "Alekseyevskaya sloboda"

"Alekseevskaya large industrial settlement" invites everyone to travel to the house-museum of the ancient culture and life of the Russian people. The guest will have to live one day in the life of a wealthy Siberian peasant in the large chopped five-wall house with old household items. Here one can see the following items: homemade stools, cabinets, self-woven paths on the floor, embroidered towels, tablecloths, bedspreads, curtains. Hospitable hosts will introduce visitors to Russian folk customs, traditional way of peasant life and folk signs.
Every corner is interesting in the museum, as the yard and the hut were reproduced according to historical facts, and each item has its own past and mythology:  barn, court buildings, red corner, women's corner, cavalryman, household stuff.
Special attention should be paid to the real big Russian oven: its fire warms not only the body but also the soul, and dinner from the Russian oven will not leave anyone indifferent.
During the day everyone will find something to do: one can lie on the bunk on top of Russian stove or grind the flour on hand millstones, to do some weaving on a loom or learn old board games such as pick-up sticks or slips, take a picture in Russian costumes or learn to play folk musical instruments, to make doll-amulet at a master class  or get acquainted with the "pysanka" (painting eggs with wax and paints). The most active visitors will be invited to participate in mobile Russian games in the yard, for example, to walk on longshanks or shoot a bow. And the excursion will finish with the treating with pies with sbiten (tea with honey and spices).
