Museum of Traditional Folk Toys "Malenkaya shkola"
The Museum of Traditional Folk toys "Malenkaya shkola" (Little school) is the only one of its kind in the Novosibirsk region. It is located in the specially renovated room of the one-storeyed building at the Municipal State Educational Institution of General Secondary School No. 105.
The basis of the exhibition is about 750 exhibits, which are genuine works of famous masters of folk toys of Russia. The exposition consists of such folk toys as Ryazan, Khludnyovo, Kostroma, Kozhlya, Filimonovo, Kargopol, Romanovo, Zhbannikovo, Pleshkovo, Bogorodskoye. The folk toys from Sudzha, Cherepovets, Vologdaas well as toys of Vyatka tradition are represented too. The museum has local clay toys, i.e. "Chinyayevskaya". The separate section is devoted to the work of the local craftswoman Ekaterina Demianovna Kovtun.
There is workshop equipped with everything necessary to create clay toys at the museum.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Kupino is 470 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the city of Kupino by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk-Severnoye", "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye". One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina str.) to the city of Kupino by train as well.
