Zdvinsky District Museum of Battle and Labor Glory

The Zdvinsky District Museum of Military and Labor Glory traces its history back to 1972 in one of the offices of the District House of Culture. Initiative and loving the history of their district local historians have made a huge contribution to the development of this cultural center of Zdvinsky district. These are N.T. Chukharev, O.P. Lomikhina, D.A. Azarov, S.F. Starostin and E.S. Starostina, N.I. Telpukhov and all those who left a part of their soul in the development of the museum. On August 11, 1988 the Museum of Military and Labor Glory was awarded the honorary title, i.e. the People's Museum. A lot of people for all the years of existence of the museum visited its hospitable walls.

Currently, the visitors of the museum are people of different age categories. The work is based on the following directions: educational; orientation to the cultural development of the individual; research, creativity approach, etc. The main category of the population to which the work of the museum is aimed is children, starting from preschool age and ending with students. The museum cooperates with educational institutions of Zdvinsky district (kindergartens, schools, orphanage, special technical vocational schools). At the beginning of each creative year the museum's methodist draws up an action plan: lessons of history, memory and courage; various thematic and general excursions, search work, field events, exhibition activities. The work plan of the museum is based on the school process of children, the main historical and social dates, as well as new trends in the development of museums.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Zdvinsk is 397 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Zdvinsk by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Zdvinsk".
