Open-air Historical-and-Architectural Museum
In 1981 the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR decided to allocate a plot of land for the Historical-and-Architectural Open-air Museum of the Institute for Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IAET of SB of RAS). The area of the museum is 46.5 ha. There are several recreational areas, archaeological, ethnographic, architectural monuments, experimental site, administrative building, which houses the ethnographic exposition.
The central architectural monument is the masterpiece of wooden architecture of the XVIII century, the Church of the Savior of the Miraculous Image of Zashiversky ostrog, Yakutia. This architectural object is the monument of history and culture of federal importance.
The tower of the Yuilsky (Kazymsky) prison, the monument of the era of the development of Siberia by the Russian population, is exhibited here. The prison is the monument of history and culture of regional importance.
The zone of archaeological objects, which presents stone steles and statues of the ancient and medieval times, is highlighted.
Guided tours are held in summer in the territory of the museum, the mass event, i.e. Maslenitsa festival, is annually organized here.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the museum is 32 km by car.
The shuttle bus No. 35 goes from the stop "River-port" to the stop "Institute for Nuclear Physics". One can get from the stop "Institute for Nuclear Physics" to the stop "Garden society "Experimenter" by bus No. 107k. And then 270 m from the stop to the museum on foot.
