Memorial House-Museum named after V.V. Kuibyshev
The house was built in 1898. It is the historical monument and is associated with the stay in 1907-1909 in exile of the party and Soviet leader Valerian Vladimirovich Kuibyshev.
On August 9, 1947 the Memorial Museum of V.V. Kuibyshev was opened in this building. The exposition of the house-museum presents 4 sections such as:
- "Kainsk is the city of political exile";
- "V. V. Kuibyshev in Kainsk exile";
- "Memorial room of V.V. Kuibyshev";
- "Political repressions of the 1920-1950s".
The central part of the exposition is occupied by the memorial room of V.V. Kuibyshev, in which he lived during the period of exile in 1907-1909 yrs. The items related to the Kainsk exile of the party figure are presented here. They include the following ones: bed, bookcase, table, chair, chest of drawers, chiffonier, writing materials, and death mask (by M.G. Manizer) and bust (by V.V. Telishev) of V.V. Kuibyshev. Kuibyshev was opened in this building.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Kuibyshev is 330 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the city of Kuibyshev by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Severnoye".
