Monument to the Participants of the Great Patriotic War in the village of Chulym
The monument to the participants in the Great Patriotic War in the village of Chulym was established in 1989. It consists of two rectangular steles mounted on a stone pedestal. There is a stele with a high relief of the head of a warrior in a helmet in the foreground on the left side of the composition. And there is the main stele next to it. There is the following inscription in its lower part on the red background: "1941-1945". 9 concrete rectangular plates, which are engraved with the names of the fallen, are attached in the middle part of the stele. The monument is crowned with a five-pointed star.
Every year on the day of the celebration of the regular anniversary on May 9, residents of the village of Chulym lay wreaths at the monument in memory of the dead countrymen. The newlyweds come to it on the wedding day.
