The state nature reserve “Uspensky”
The state nature reserve “Uspensky” has a biological (zoological) significance and made to restore rare and endangered wildlife and their habitats. The total area is 86 840 hectares. It was founded on April 25, 2000.
On the territory of the reserve there are forests, shrubs and young growth, water objects, swamps, meadow-steppe complexes and farmland.
One of the goals of the reserve is to protect migration routes, places of mass nesting and accumulation of waterfowl and swamp game, bog game, animals such as elk, roe deer, hare, and badger.
179 species of birds, 47 species of mammals, 7 species of amphibians, 4 species of reptiles have been identified here. 12 species of birds are included in the Red Books of the Novosibirsk Region and the Russian Federation: small bittern, mute swan, White-fronted Goose, Great Spotted Eagle, meadow harrier, hawk, gray shrike.
It is prohibited: economic activities, hunting and all types of fishing, the collection of berries from the territory.
Location: the Novosibirsk region, south-east part of Ubinsky district
How to get there: the distance from Ubinskoe village to the nature reserve is 11 km by car, from Novosibirsk to nature reserve is 240 km by car. There is the scheduled bus from Novosibirsk Bus Terminal to Ubinskoe village, then you need to take the bus goes to Moscovka village.
