The state biological nature reserve “Talitsky”
The state biological reserve "Talitsky" is a specially protected natural area of regional importance. Its area is 59 703 hectares. The reserve was founded on February 22, 2001.
It was created in order to:
1. save the natural complexes and foothills of the Salair ridge of Western Siberia in the natural original state;
2. protect the representatives of fauna of the territory, such as: elk, roe deer, hare, bear, river beaver, otter, gray marmot, black grouse, badger;
3. protect of habitats of rare and endangered plant species;
4. maintain the ecological balance and stability of ecosystem;
5. provide the public education.
On the territory of the nature reserve it is forbidden to do any business, hunting and fishing, organization of tourist camps.
Location: the Novosibirsk region, Maslyaninsky district, next to Altai Krai
How to get there: on the territory of the nature reserve “Talitsky” there is a camp called “Strelinka”.
The distance from Maslyanino village to the camp is 4 km by car, and from Novosibirsk to the camp is 146 km by car. From Novosibirsk Bus Terminal to Maslyanino village there is the scheduled bus, and then you can take a taxi or get there by your car.
