Natural monument of regional level “Zolotaya Niva Landscape”
The natural monument “Zolotaya Niva Landscape” occupies 1821 hectares. It was founded on January 16, 2007.
“Zolotaya Niva Landscape” is a combination of forest-steppe, meadow and lake-marsh complexes of fauna and flora. This is a habitat for a significant number of rare species of plants and animals.
The territory is rich of unique animals. Today 111 species of birds, 29 species of mammals, 4 species of amphibians, 3 reptiles, 82 plant species, 162 species of invertebrates have been recorded here.
The main object of protection in the natural monument is 20 species of plants and animals included into the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the Novosibirsk Region. Here you can find gray shrike and a large spotted eagle, and also a rare comber grows loose, as well rare species of insects, including nightingale cricket, butterfly pigeon.
In summer the residents of the Dovolensky district gather berries and mushrooms, useful herbs, have walks, and do fishing on the territory of the natural monument. Here, the unauthorized occupation of land, cutting trees, making fires, and grazing of animals are prohibited.
Location: the Novosibirsk region, Dovolensky district, 50 km to the west from Dovolnoe village and 4 km to the west from Ilinka village, next to Zolotaya Niva village
How to get there: the distance between Dovolnoe village and the natural monument “Zolotaya Niva Landscape” is 39 km by car, from Novosibirsk to the natural monument – 314 km by car.
There is scheduled bus from Novosibirsk to Dovolnoe village. From Dovolnoe village to Ilinka village you can get by bus and then take a car or taxi to get to the natural monument (about 4 km).
