Памятник трудовому подвигу ленинградцев, эвакуированных в Новосибирск в 1941–1944 гг.
The monument to the labor feat of Leningrad residents evacuated to the city of Novosibirsk in 1941-1944 was created by association with the Alexander column on the Dvortsovaya square of the city of Saint-Petersburg. It was established upon the initiative of the public organization "Survivor of the Siege". During the Great Patriotic War, 128,000 Leningrad residents were evacuated to the city of Novosibirsk (for comparison: the population of the city of Novosibirsk before the war amounted to 400,000 people.).
The monument was opened on May 7, 2005. The author – Yurii Burika. The line "Blockade days will never be forgotten" from the poem by N.P. Vaivod, which became a kind of anthem of Leningrad residents evacuated to the city of Novosibirsk, is carved on it.
Every year on May 9 memorial wreaths and flowers are laid to the stele.
