Park of Culture and Recreation "Zaeltsovsky"

The route starts from the Park of Culture and Recreation "Zaeltsovsky". Here one can rent a bike and take a trip to Zaeltsovsky pine forest. Relict pine trees, winding forest paths, clean air will delight tourists throughout the whole route. During stops it is possible to collect berries such as: blueberry, strawberry, stone bramble. The path runs through the forest in the direction of the sanatorium "Zaeltsovsky pine forest" and the village of Mochishche. The name of the village came from the main occupation of local residents. Once, about 250-300 years ago, there was the lake, in which flax was soaked, so the name of the village is Mochishche as a result. The tourists go from the village along the highway to the intersection with the highway Novosibirsk - Krasny Yar, and then along the country road to the 300-year-old pine tree, the sizes of which are impressive since two adults can not pin arms to its sides. It is the thickest pine in the Zaeltsovsky pine forest.

Tourists head off this monumental tree along the country road to the Dachny highway. They can return to the Zaeltsovsky park, to the Novosibirsk Zoo or to the area of Kalinina square along this way.
