Park "City Beginning"

The Park "City Beginning" is especially attractive for citizens and visitors of the city. It has become the place of the quay between the railway and municipal bridges recently. Here one can see one of the historical points of interest of the city, i.e. the farm of the old historical bridge, with the construction of which the city of Novosibirsk began its history in 1893. One farm was left for history upon the request of the citizens when the bridge was dismantled. It is planned to install an old steam locomotive from those that once passed on the Trans-Siberian railway on the farm of the bridge in the future.

There are several cafes and convenient viewing platforms with beautiful views of the city of Ob near the farm of the bridge. From these platforms one can see another point of interest of the city, i.e. the floating fountain in the city of Ob, located a few dozen meters from the shore.

How to get there: one can get 1.4 km on foot from the metro station "Rechnoy Vokzal" to the Park "City Beginning".
