Kochkovsky Museum of Local History
The Kochkovsky Museum of Local History is entitled as "people's" museum: enthusiasts took part in its creation, they replenished and replenish its fund.
The museum has several sections such as:
- archaeological (among the exhibits: bison horn, mammoth jaw with teeth, chain mail of the XVII century, bronze Scythian dagger of the VI century BC, found during excavations in the territory of the district);
- ethnographic (horsehair sieve, barrel organ, etc.);
- works of arts and crafts.
Permanent exhibitions "District: yesterday, today, tomorrow", "Nature of the native land", "The Great Patriotic War" and "Peasant hut" enjoy the constant interest of visitors. The main fund has more than 7,000 units of storage such as: documents of historical value, photographs, awards, personal belongings of residents of the district, coins, household items and about 7,000 exhibits of the auxiliary fund - such a museum collection can tell a lot about the history and current state of the district.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Kochki is 200 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Kochki by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk-Kochki", "Novosibirsk-Krasnozyorskoye", "Novosibirsk-Karasuk", "Novosibirsk-Dovolnoye".
Working hours: from 9:00 to 17:00
Lunch break is from 13:00 to 14:00
