Преображенский храм
In 1980, orthodox believers led by Maria Andreevna Bragina purchased a house in Bannaya street from the Lukhmanov's family to perform a joint prayer in It. The first newly formed Orthodox community appeared in the city of Kupino in such a way. In 1987, the house was converted into the temple. On June 20, 1987, Metropolitan Gideon consecrated the temple in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
There are especially revered icons there in the temple such as: St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (not restored), the Most Holy Mother of God "Joy of all Who Sorrow" (not restored), Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God (portable).
