Temple in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Znamenie-Abalackaya"

The parish in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Znamenie-Abalackaya" was established with the blessing of Metropolitan Tikhon of Novosibirsk and Berdsk in 1992. Initially, the church services were performed in the premises of the housing maintenance office.

In 1994, Bishop Tikhon consecrated the stepping stone on the site of the future temple. The temple was designed due to the project of the architect P.A. Chernobrovtsev.

On July 25, 2000, Bishop Sergius (Sokolov) carried out the rite of full consecration of the temple. The main temple was consecrated in honour of Icon of the Mother of God "Znamenie-Abalackaya", the lower temple in the name of the Holy Righteous John the Russia, the Confessor.

The temple has venerated shrines, icons with particles of relics and separate arks with particles of relics of God's saints such as: St. Andrew the First-Called, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, St. Sergius of Radonezh, Holy Martyr Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kiev, St. Philaret of Moscow, St. Innocent of Moscow, St. John of Tobolsk, Blessed and Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky; Holy Fathers of the Kievan Caves: the Holy Martyr Lucian, the Blesses Agapitus the Physician, the Blessed Alipius the Iconographer, the Blessed Moses Ugrin, the Blessed Joseph the Muchailing, the Blessed Theophila, fool for Christ's sake; the Holy Righteous John of Russia, the Confessor.

Work pattern: daily from 8:00 till 20:00 without lunch

Services in the temple are carried out daily, in the morning from 8:30, in the evening from 17:00. The morning church service includes Hours and the Liturgy, at the end of which custom-made prayers are served, the Liturgy for the dead is performed. During the reading of the Hours and the beginning of the Liturgy, the Sacrament of Confession is performed.
The evening church service includes the 9th hour, Vespers and Matins. At the end of the evening church service, if necessary, Confession is carried out.
