Bagansky District Museum of Local History

The museum complements its collections with objects of life and culture of the peoples of the region, tells about the combat and labor path of fellow countrymen, the history of enterprises and organizations. Currently, the museum has more than seven thousand exhibits of the main and scientific-and-auxiliary fund. The following collections are gathered: documents, painting, graphics, sculpture, applied arts, everyday life, and ethnography, numismatics, archaeology, and technology. The rich material is accumulated on the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

On the basis of the collected material the following halls are opened and operate: archaeological, one of Great Patriotic War, modernity, nature, lecture, exhibition; permanent exhibitions: "The establishment of Soviet power", "Peasant hut", "Linen lookouts", " Objects of labor and life."

The Bagansky Regional Museum of Local History offers visitors sightseeing and thematic tours, lectures, museum lessons, exhibitions, events, meetings, etc.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Bagan is 440 km by car.
One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Bagan by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk–Bagan", "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye", "Novosibirsk-Kupino". One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Bagan" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda".
