Novosibirsk Musical Theater

The Novosibirsk Musical Theater began its history from February 2, 1959. Currently, it is one of the leading musical theaters in Russia. The creative team consists of well-known masters of musical theater, many of whom have been granted state awards.
 
The repertoire includes classics of the operetta genre, musical comedy, modern experimental works in the musical genre, performances for children and youth.
 
The basic principle of the Novosibirsk Musical Theater is to meet the needs of viewing theatrical productions of the widest range of spectators. Therefore, the guiding postulate of the theater is the following thesis: "Theater is preserved by tradition and developed by experiment."
 
The theater has repeatedly participated in the National Theater Festival "Golden Mask". The team is the owner of eight Awards of "Golden Mask" and numerous Diplomas of the festival.
