Mass Grave of Civil War Guerrillas in the village of Svetloye
In autumn of 1919 a detachment of Kolchak punishers occupied the village of Svetloye. The local resident Ilia Stepanovich Didenko, his companion Anton Ivanovich Kurbatov and others were killed due to communication with guerrillas. All 17 people killed were buried in the mass grave. In 1921 a wooden monument was erected, and in 1954 a brick one was built.
The monument is made in the form of a faceted obelisk with a pointed pyramidal top, crowned with a star. The obelisk stands on the massive base. There is plate with the following inscription on one of the faces: "For fighters for the power of the Soviets". The monument was erected in honor of the inhabitants of the village of Svetloye, who died during the Civil War.
