Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker
The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was built in about 1899 of brick. This point of interest is the pride of the local residents. It is the historical monument.
The history of the church is quite interesting. In 1902, the construction of the church began on the donation of parishioners. The building is very strong, as the chicken eggs were used for the construction of the walls.
Previously, the church was called Pokrov, and then it was renamed in honor of Dmitrii Solunskii. People were baptized and married here. During the years of repression, the church was closed, the priest was arrested, all the property was taken out by the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs, and the building was made into a chicken coop. The women of the village took the icons home and thus saved the historical values. During the war, the building turned into a granary. Later, it was decided to make a club from the church, which it is to this day.
It is noteworthy that the Faces of Saints on the walls of the Church appear even after whitewashing.
