Temple in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of all who Sorrow"
The history of the temple can be traced back to the time of the Berdsk prison: the first same-name wooden temple was built in 1716. Later, it was rebuilt in stone. In the 30s. of XX century the temple was destroyed, and the place where it stood, was flooded by the Ob sea.
The author of the project of the new temple is the Novosibirsk architect Petr Aleksandrovich Chernobrovtsev. The construction of the temple started in 2005 and was consecrated in 2009. The bell, which still rings in the bell tower, preserved miraculously from the first temple to the present day.
Currently, the parish has a library (the fund has more than 4,000 units), the newspaper "Berdsk Orthodox" is published here. The parish regularly organizes pilgrimages, talks, concerts for believers and local residents.
