General information for tourists

Useful tips before you start the trip!

In advance:
• Ask for a tour to a reliable travel agent from the registry http://turizm.nso.ru/en/content/turistskiy-reestr
• Inform your work colleaugues about the planned vacation.
• Inform the relatives, friends, neighbors.
• Think about the care of animals and plants in your absence.
• Check your passport and (if necessary)  driving license.
• Make vaccinations (if necessary).
• Make copy of the passports of all travelers (during the trip keep separate from the originals).
• Check the absence of debts.

One week before leaving:
• Pay all bills, loans, mortgages, alimony, etc.
• Carefully read the memo about the place of stay (specifics of behavior, national characteristics, cuisine, local currency, interesting places, sights, etc.).
• Unsubscribe to receive mail, newspapers, drinks, et cetera during the trip.
• Hide or leave a spare key for neighbors / friends.
 
Don’t forget to take with you:
• Toothbrush, razor, comb.
• Warm clothes (if necessary).
• Comfortable / athletic clothing and shoes for active excursions, hiking.
• Protective sun crème, other cosmetics, humid tissues.
• Sunglasses and bathing accessories.
• Camera and chargers!
• First aid kit: plaster, bandage, analgesics, antipyretic agents, remedies for indigestion, allergies (often in the sun or insect bites, even if never before), etc.
• Medicines for insects! (Sprays, fumigator for the room).
• Traveling with children: baby crib, stroller, baby food, pacifier, toys, etc.
 
Before leaving:
• Take care of perishable products at home.
• Check the information about your flight / train / bus (transfer, delay, etc.) on the eve.
• Check the following:
1. Money, credit cards
2. Telephone (connect roaming / additional services), charger
3. Tickets, voucher for check-in, insurance, passports, birth certificates for children and their copies (we recommend you to carry copies of documents and policies with you on your trip, keep the originals in the safe box).
• Switch off the oven, iron and all electrical devices.

Last minute tips:
•   Water and snacks for trip (if necessary)
•   Book, notebook, tablet, earphones, neck-pillow and etc.
•   Positive attitude and good mood!
