Lake Tanay
The coastal part of Lake Tanay is a favorite tourist destination. The reservoir is next to the Salairsky ridge.
There is old well with the purest water on the coast. The landscape beauty: the steppe expanses, spurs of the ridge, as well as the picturesque year-round fishing attract tourists.
The legend says: in the center of the Lake there is “Kuchumov Island”, which hided the underground palace of Khan Kuchum with his treasures.

How to get there: the distance between Toguchin and Tanay Lake is 76 km by car, from Novosibirsk to the Lake – 180 km by car by K 19 highway.
There is a local bus from Novosibirsk Bus Terminal to Toguchin town. From Toguchin town to Stepnogutovo village there is scheduled bus. You can get to Tanay Lake by car or taxi from Stepnogutovo village.
