Memorial of Military Glory and Museum of Military Equipment under open sky
The memorial is dedicated to the soldiers who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 yrs.
The memorial complex consists of 9 pylons connected at the top. There is the following inscription above them: "Be worthy of the memory of the fallen..." The pylons have names of 5,180 dead (plus 76 in additional lists) on fronts of the Great Patriotic War, who were the inhabitants of Karasuksky district. The memorial has busts of 9 Heroes of the Soviet Union. They include N.A. Klimovskii, I.I. Landik, V.F. Molozev, G.A. Molochkov, Ia.N. Orlov, G.A. Smetanin, Z.A. Sorokin, A.V. Sudarev, V.N. Timonov.
On may 7, 2010, the representatives of the city Karasuk lit a torch from the Eternal flame in the city of Novosibirsk and delivered the Fire to their hometown. The Memorial of Military Glory and the open-air museum were inaugurated on May 8, 2010. The right to light the Eternal flame was granted to the initiator of the memorial, the head of the Karasuksky district Aleksandr Pavlovich Gofman.
Every year, as part of the celebration of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, a solemn meeting is held at the memorial of Military Glory, cadets of the military-and-patriotic club bring "Memory Watch", actions "Victory Candle", "Immortal regiment" are held, flowers are laid to the Eternal flame in honor of the memory of the fallen.
On the wedding day, the newlyweds come to the memorial to lay flowers and honor the memory of the heroes.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Karasuk is 390 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the city of Karasuk by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk-Karasuk", "Novosibirsk-Kupino", "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye", "Novosibirsk-Pavlodar", "Novosibirsk-Karaganda".
One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina str.) to the railway station "Karasuk-1" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda".
