Zhuravskoye Village Art Gallery

The only Rural Art Gallery in the Novosibirsk region is located in the village of Zhuravka of Chistoozyorny district. The collection began in 1959.

The Art Gallery is located in the building of the Municipal State Institution of Culture "Zhuravka Culture-and-Leisure Center". The room has 2 halls (large, small) with a total area of 154.9 sq.m. There is permanent exhibition in the large hall, which houses 80 works of artists. There are works of local artists, mainly of landscape genre, there in the small hall.

The imaginative creators of the gallery were famous Siberian artists such as Vasilii Demianovich Voitov (native of the village of Zhuravka) and brothers Vasilii and Ivan Titkov.

The fund of the art gallery has 244 works (painting - 220, graphics - 19, sculpture - 5). The foundation is based on the works of Novosibirsk artists P.L. Porotnikov, brothers Titkov, B.V. Kriukov, A.L. Ganzhinskii, A.L. Nikolskii, V.A. Sokol, A.A. Bertik, A.P. Erokhina, G.G. Likman, O.L. Ginsburg, V.I. Chirkov The fund includes the works of Omsk artists V.I. Kopaev, K.N. Shchekotov. The pride of the art gallery are the works of Moscow artists Ia.D. Romas (landscapes), N.N. Zhukov (Leninianas) and E.A. Katsman (portraits), which were presented at the exhibition in 1975, and then left as a gift to the rural art gallery.

How to get there: the distance from the worker's settlement of Chistoozyornoye (district center) to the village of Zhuravka is 10 km by car, the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Zhuravka is 500 km by car.
One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Chistoozyornaya" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda". One can also get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Chistoozyornoye by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye". The settlement of Chistoozyornoye and the village of Zhuravka are connected by bus service.
