Novosibirsk Planetarium
Novosibirsk Planetarium was built in 2011 for the 50th anniversary of the first human space flight. It is the largest planetarium in Asian part of Russia and it is unique because of its’ special status: Novosibirsk Planetarium is an institute of supplementary education which means that annually more then 50 000 pupils can visit planetarium free of charge. Children take part in hobby groups studying history of Space exploration, aeromodelling, literature, design etc. Planetarium offers not only watching stars and sky but also dozens of entertainment programs and performances for all ages and all types of visitors. There is 7 telescopes which lets them get the fullest extent possible view of the starscape. Visitors are offered to enjoy movies on a dome of the great Star Hall, tour an exhibition or, for example, throw a birthday party among the stars and planets.
