NATO (Novosibirsk Association of Tourist Organization)

The Novosibirsk Association of Tourist Organization (NATO) is voluntary non-profit association of enterprises and organizations of tourism industry and has been created to coordinate activities, ensure the protection of rights and represent the common interest of its participants in state and local government bodies, as well as in all-Russian and international organizations.

Association was registered in 1998. Today Association includes 51 companies.

Main activities of NATO:

• Joint work of the Russian Union of Travel Industry the Administration of the Novosibirsk region and the Mayor’s Office of Novosibirsk about improvement of legislative base of tourism activities in Russia.
• Organization of NATO members’ participation at exhibition events in Novosibirsk, Moscow and other Russian cities and abroad.
• Preparation and holding of round table discussion about tourism industry development.
• Cooperation with the Federal Border Guard Service and “Tolmachevo” international airport about improving quality of passengers’ service.
• Participation of NATO members in social projects.
• Providing annual competitions for Siberia tourist business participants.
• Presentation of the NATO members’ interests, establishment relations between NATO members and airlines.
• Creating the Commission of staff assistance in travel companies, cooperation with Novosibirsk universities for preparing the specialists.
