Museum of the Сentralny district of the city of Novosibirsk
The Museum of the Сentralny district of the city of Novosibirsk was opened in 2008. Since 2014, it has become the branch of the Municipal State Institution of Culture "Museum of Novosibirsk".
The main purpose of the museum is the collection and storage of objects that were once the most common things, over the years, gaining the status of valuable historical evidence requiring careful attitude.
Currently, the museum keeps 2,260 units of the main fund and 1,544 units of the auxiliary fund.
The museum is undergoing constant changes: the exhibits are replenished, the exhibitions are replaced. The institution aims to arouse the interest of Novosibirsk residents and visitors of the city to the history of the Tsentralny district, to promote the popularization of historical knowledge among young people.
It is a branch of The Museum of Novosibirsk.
