Children's Health-improvement Camp "Svetlyachok

The Children's Health-improvement Camp of year-round action "Svetlyachok" is located on the shore of the salt lake in the picturesque place, in the territory of the famous resort "Lake Karachi".

The camp offers 12-day rest during spring, autumn, new year holidays, as well as summer arrivals lasting 21 days. An individual recreation program is developed especially for each season. Qualified counselors and educators work with children.

The camp is open to up to 100 children per shift. They are placed in comfortable heated sleeping buildings of capital type with toilet and shower rooms. There are 2 buildings in total:
• 15 building: fourteen 3-seater rooms and four 2-seater rooms. The room has sink with cold water, there are 2 bathrooms, shower, and TV on the floor.
• 8 building: fourteen 3-seater rooms and four 2-seater rooms. Sanitary conveniences and shower are provided in the rooms.

Five meals a day are organized in the modern canteen.

The territory of the camp is equipped with sports grounds (volleyball, basketball, football), gymnastics complex.

There are educational and entertainment activities for children. The library is equipped with children's encyclopedias from the series "I explore the world", fairy tales, fiction. The library fund is constantly replenished.

For health purposes, the children bathe in the salt lake of Karachi, sunbathe, drink mineral water, take cold and mud baths. Swimming pool is available in the worker's settlement of Chany, 17 km away from the camp.

Education of students in non-vacation time from 1 to 10 forms is conducted by teachers of Municipal Budgetary Institution of General Education "Lake Karachi General Education School".

How to get there: the distance from the worker's settlement of Chany (administrative center) to the resort settlement of Lake Karachi is 17 km by car, the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the resort settlement of Lake Karachi is 420 km by car.

Another option: One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the w.s. of Chany by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Ust-Tarka". One can get from the worker's settlement of Chany to the village of Lake Karachi bus on the routes "Chany-Lake Karachi", "Chany–Pokrovka", "Chany–Sergino", "Chany–Taylakovo", and by gazelle on the route "Chany-Lake Karachi".
