Children's Camp "Chkalovets"
The Sanatorium Health-improvement Camp of year-round action "Chkalovets" is located on 54 hectares of beautifully landscaped and equipped territory, surrounded by perennial pine trees, on the shore of the Ob sea. "Chkalovets" is the camp with a well-developed modern infrastructure. There is medical building (with modern medical equipment), separate building of the hydrotherapy building and cultural-and-entertainment center in its territory.
9 residential three-storeyed brick buildings were built in the territory. Each unit occupies a separate floor of the building. Children live in bright 5-6-bed rooms, on each separate place there are sanitary blocks for boys and girls, with round-the-clock hot water supply. There are showers for daily use on the floor.
Children eat in the canteen, with two spacious halls for up to 120 and 350 people and children's cafe hall. There are 5 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, high tea, supper, second supper. The diet includes meat, fish dishes, dairy products, own fresh pastries, fruits, and vegetables on a daily basis.
The following units work for children in the camp: workshops for creative studios and clubs, large library, dance and choreographic halls, classrooms for the school during the year-round sanatorium arrivals.
The sports infrastructure is equipped and developed in the camp. There is large and small football field with artificial coverage, basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, gym, martial arts section, paint-ball town and equipment, shooting range, beach in the camp, tourist town, obstacle course "rope course".
In winter, there is skating rink and ski run.
Medical-and-diagnostic base and qualification of medical personnel fully comply with the requirements of the sanatorium, which is confirmed by medical licenses. Medical activities of the children's camp include comprehensive medical and health-improvement programs in the following areas: pulmonology, otorhinolaryngology, traumatology and orthopedics, gastroenterology, manual therapy, neurology.
The following items work in the medical complex:
• inhalation therapy room;
• manual therapy room;
• salt cave;
• physical therapy hall;
• room for heat and mud treatment;
• aromatherapy room;
• detensor (relaxation system), massage department;
• phyto-bar;
• solarium;
• different types of showers.
Consultations of narrow specialists and all procedures included in the course of health improvement are assigned to children in accordance with the diagnosis and data of the sanatorium card issued by the district pediatrician.
There are games (including games of KVN (the club of humor), contests, drawn games, creative and practical classes, Olympiads and big holidays for children in the camp, the participants and organizers of which are the children themselves.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Iskitim (the administrative center of Iskitimsky district) to the camp "Chkalovets" is 46 km by car, the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the camp is 96 km by car.
One can get to the city of Iskitim by electric train on the routes "Novosibirsk-Main-Iskitim", "Novosibirsk-Main-Lozhok", "Novosibirsk-Main-Dorogino", "Novosibirsk-Main-Cherepanovo". One can get from the city of Iskitim to the village of Burmistrovo by bus on the route "Iskitim-Ozyorki".
One can get from Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the village of Burmistrovo by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Zavyalovo".
The delivery of children is organized in the following way: from the collection point in the city of Novosibirsk, children are transported by bus accompanied by traffic police crews.

How to get there: stop "The Garden named after Dzerzhinsky". Buses No. 6 (1260) and No. 41 (1141) run from the stop "Metro Studencheskaya" to the stop "The Garden named after Dzerzhinsky". And then 241 m from the stop "The Garden named after Dzerzhinsky" to the representation of the camp "Chkalovets" on foot.
