Музей Счастья

In 2009, one of the most unusual museums was created in the city of Novosibirsk. It is dedicated not to things, not to historical figures or events, but, perhaps, to the most desired and at the same time the most ambiguous human feeling, i.e. happiness. The museum was founded by spouses Irina Nekrasova and Iurii Dremin, musicians of the Novosibirsk Author's Duo "Sunny Rain". Since 2013, it is located in the architectural monument of the early XX century in the 13 1905 goda str.

The museum exposition consists of guardian angels of happiness, amulets, charms, talismans, folk dolls, symbols of happiness, "happy tickets" and other things, one way or another associated with happiness and its understanding in the views of different peoples. The collection is formed thanks to the gifts of visitors. The museum presents exhibits from the cities of Novosibirsk, Moscow, Voronezh, Izhevsk, Berdsk, Gorno-Altaysk, Biysk, Barnaul, Belokurikha, Tomsk, Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Czech Republic, Thailand, Congo, etc.

The Museum has a variety of collections, namely: sayings of great people, poems, parables, myths, legends, anecdotes, songs, sayings, omens about happiness, information about the monuments of happiness and the word "happiness" in different languages of the world.

Collectors of happiness demonstrate their treasures not only in exhibition halls. Creative meetings are often held at homes, offices, cafes, schools - wherever people want to meet with happiness. But the museum is not limited to the demonstration of exhibits. Visitors themselves take an active part in the program: they make wishes under the "magic umbrella", give and receive "happy" gifts, participate in master-classes, talk about their understanding of happiness, create the Museum book of Happiness together with the organizers. The museum's caretakers delight guests with a live performance of songs about happiness, both of their own composition, and famous bards. Sometimes the museum becomes cramped in the premises, and it goes out and plants "beds of happiness" in different cities  or conducts various actions with young artists: "Happiness - piece by piece", "Angels of all countries unite!", "Happiness for loved ones", etc.

The museum has its own museum "Shop of Happiness", in which everyone can buy or receive a variety of happy souvenirs and items related to happiness as a gift such as: clay "Pieces of Happiness", magic "Postcard with seeds of cherished desires", fabulous "Bird of Happiness", talismans, "lucky dolls", "rain flutes" and much more.
