Мошковский краеведческий музей
The Moshkovsky Museum of Local History was established on May 18, 1989 as a Museum of the Military and Labor Glory. In 2004, it acquired the status of a legal entity. The museum is housed in the premises of Moshkovo School of Arts. The area is 125 sq.m.
The institution has 2 halls such as: exposition and exhibition. The first is opened by the paleontological collection (osteological remains of prehistoric animals found in the Moshkovsky district). The same hall contains information about archaeological finds in the territory of the district. The exposition dedicated to the Umreva prison includes photographic documents, objects of peasant life. The section "Along the Moscow highway" gives an idea of the route connecting the central part of Russia with Eastern Siberia. The exposition "Siberia became the Motherland" tells about the development of the area by immigrants in the XVIII-early XX centuries. The next period in the history of the district is covered by the exhibition "History of the worker's settlement of Moshkovo and the land of Moshkovskaya from the late XIX-early XX centuries ("From Alekseevskaya volost to Moshkovsky district").
Particular interest of visitors is paid to the lectures-tours of applied art of the residents of the district, conversations about Russian traditions, crafts, history of museum objects such as: "Feast of Russian samovar", "Secrets of the old chest", "From the history of the Russian bell", "Spinning wheel and loom", "In the peasant's yard", "From the history of money", "From the history of hours", "Iron – from the stone age to the present day", "Pottery", etc.
The museum became a winner of regional competitions "Rural tourism", "Culture light". The institution takes part in competitions ("By roads of national glory", "70 years of Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War"), actions ("Night in the Museum", "We were not at that war"), events.
During 2014-2015 there were exhibitions of paintings by local artists Sapronov: "Poetry of the native land", "Fairy-tale characters". In 2015, the exhibition of paintings "Love for a small Homeland" by N.M. Shalagina and "Porcelain fairy-tale" (sculpture of the 60s, Gzhel) were opened here.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the settlement of Moshkovo is 63 km by car. One can get to the settlement of Moshkovo by electric train on the routes "Novosibirsk-Main-Moshkovo", "Novosibirsk-Main-Oyash", "Novosibirsk-Main-Bolotnaya".
One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the settlement of Moshkovo by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Yurga". In addition, bus No. 130 goes from the public transport stop "Uchitelskaya" to the settlement of Moshkovo.
