Мемориальный комплекс воинам, погибшим во Второй мировой войне
The memorial of Glory is the venue for all significant events related to the wars, the place of laying wreaths and flowers, the tribute to all those who died in the war. It was opened in 1991. The following individuals worked on the project: architect Gennadii Sergeevich Volozhanin, honored sculptor of the RSFSR Nikolai Aleksandrovich Ivanov.
There are the following items in the territory of the memorial:
- steles with memorial plates to those who died during the Great Patriotic War;
- alley of busts of Heroes of the Soviet Union;
- sculptural composition in the center of the memorial;
- memorial stone to the warriors of local conflicts;
- sculptural composition "Eternal fire".
Every year, in honor of the Victory Day, the memorial hosts festive events with congratulations to veterans and laying of wreaths and flowers, an honor guard, a song-and-dance program is organized.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Barabinsk is 320 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the city of Barabinsk by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Severnoye". One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina str.) to the railway station "Barabinsk" by train.
