Кыштовский районный краеведческий музей
The Kyshtovsky District Museum of Local History is located in the old building (built in 1895), the former merchant's shop, which belonged to the merchant Fedor Afinogenovich Shcheglov. The museum was opened in 1990. Wrought iron bars on the windows, shutters with overhead wrought iron elements, iron drainpipes with openwork water intakes preserved since the construction.
The museum collection includes more than 470 items. The exhibition area is 98 sq.m. Exhibits are located in 3 exhibition halls and storage rooms.
The museum fund has large archaeological and paleontological collections. Old maps of the district and photos of the village of Kyshtovka of the past years, as well as items of peasant life, dishes, utensils, tools are presented here. The museum has home-made clothes of peasants of Kyshtovsky district made of flax and wool. The following objects of life of immigrants are presented: Belarusian national costume, Ukrainian musical instruments. Exhibits dedicated to the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War are available here.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Kyshtovka is 570 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Kyshtovka by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Kyshtovka".

Monday -Thursday: 9:00-17:00
A lunch break is from 13:00 to 14:00
