Краеведческий музей Убинского района

The Museum of Local History in Ubinsky district was opened in 1999. For 16 years of work more than 6,000 exhibits have been collected. The most numerous collections are as follows: collections of coins, orders and medals, stamps, arts and crafts, photographs and documents. Currently the museum houses the following exhibitions: "Russian clean part of peasant's hut", " Objects of labor and life of the late XIX-XX centuries.", "Animal world of the village of Baraba", "Numismatics", "History of photography", "Models of Orthodox churches of V.A. Poltava", "Military glory".

The pride of the museum is the collection of self-woven linen towels presented in the exhibition "Russian clean part of peasant's hut". Antiquity subjects are as follows: milk jugs, samovars, plow, sickle, flail, yoke and other items collected in the museum will tell about the hard life of Siberian peasants. The museum presents a unique exhibit such as: vintage homemade wooden weigh beem (scales). The exposition "Fauna of the village of Baraba" will introduce representatives of fauna of Ubinsky district.

Special place is occupied by the exposition "Military glory", which tells about the participation of countrymen in the Great Patriotic War, work in the rear and the life of the district in this historical period. In addition to permanent exhibitions, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions both from its own funds and from the funds of regional museums.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Ubinskoye is 230 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Ubinskoye by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Ubinskoye". One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Ubinskaya".

Tuesday-Friday: 9:00-17:00
Saturday: 9:00-15:00
A lunch break is from 13:00 to 14:00
