Коневский краеведческий музей

The Konevsky Museum of Local History is distinguished by the fact that in addition to the usual exhibits, it presents paintings by the original artist and his director Ivan Alekseevich Ruban, listed in the "Golden book of culture of the Novosibirsk region" in the nomination "Master-Golden hands". The museum was founded in 1970. When Ivan Alekseevich created the local history circle in the school, he went with his students to abandoned villages and brought home utensils, samovars, etc. Then, there was a school museum, and when it became cramped in the walls of the school, the  village museum of local history was opened in 2004.

Currently, the museum has 1,075 exhibits of the main fund and 383 of the scientific-and-auxiliary fund. The material about the native of the village of Konevo, Hero of the Soviet Union Dmitrii Pakhomov is collected here. The bust to the Hero is established at the building of the House of Culture. The museum does not have its own building and is located in the administration of the village council.

Ivan Alekseevich Ruban was the true keeper of folk traditions and native Ukrainian culture, he headed a family ensemble, played many musical instruments. The creative dynasty Ruban is the winner of the regional competition of family creativity. And Ivan Alekseevich was the winner of the All-Russian competition of amateur creativity "Victory Salute", his paintings were exhibited in the city of Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Moscow.

In 2013, the significant event in the history of the museum was the opening of the exhibition hall of fauna and flora of the Novosibirsk region in the Konevo House of Culture, where the works of taxidermist (naturalist) Mikhail Alekseevich Rubin are presented.

How to get there: the distance from the settlement of Krasnozyorskoye (district center) to the village of Konevo is 50 km by car, the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the village of Konevo is 340 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the settlement of Krasnozyorskoye by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk-Krasnozyorskoye", "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye", "Novosibirsk-Karasuk", "Novosibirsk-Polovinnoye", "Novosibirsk-Kupino", "Novosibirsk-Bagan".
One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Krasnozyorskoye" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda". There is also a bus service between the settlement of Krasnozyorskoye and the village of Konevo.
