Городской драматический театр «На окраине»

The City Drama Theater "Na okraine" was opened in 2005. The founder and Chief Director of the theater is Aleksandr Petrovich Kobets, Honorary worker of the culture of the Novosibirsk region.

The acting team of the Municipal Budgetary Institution of the City Drama Theater "On the outskirts" consists of students of Aleksandr Petrovich, who received special professional education. More than 100 performances a year are staged by the theater for residents of Karasuksky and nearby district, remote from the regional center. Over the year of its activity, the theater has produced more than 30 performances for children and adults. The basis of the repertoire is performances staged due to Russian classical literature.
 
The educational project "For preservation of Russian literature" is being implemented. The performances based on the works of A.S. Pushkin, F.M. Dostoevskii, A.P. Chekhov, V.M. Shukshin are shown for children from 4 to 16 years.
 
Every year, the creative team of the theater takes part in the open theater festival "Acting" in the city of Kuybyshev and takes winning places.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Karasuk is 390 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the city of Karasuk by bus on the routes "Novosibirsk-Karasuk", "Novosibirsk-Kupino", "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye", "Novosibirsk-Pavlodar", "Novosibirsk-Karaganda".
One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Karasuk-1" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda".
