Чистоозёрный краеведческий музей

The Chistoozyorny Museum of Local History was founded in 2002. It has 2,900 exhibits of the main fund, most of which are historical and household collections. There are also ethnographic and natural science collections, sculpture, graphics, fine arts.

More about the exhibition halls of the museum:
- Hall "Small Homeland". In this hall guests get acquainted with the history of settlement and development of Chistoozyorny district and preserved monuments of architectural heritage in the district;
-  Hall "The clean part of peasant's hut". Colorful clean part of peasant's hut from year to year replenished with unique exhibits such as: scales, cupboards, chests, icons, man-made furniture, etc.;
- Hall "Nature of the region". This is the most favorite corner in the museum for children, i.e. more than 20 stuffed birds and animals are on display;
- Hall "Holy War". There are various expositions of the period of the Great Patriotic War such as personal belongings of veterans, trophy items, photos, decorated layout of the dugout;
- Hall "XX century". The following expositions are formed in this hall: "From the history of technology", "Visiting the milliner", "Grandmother's furniture", " Symbols of the XX century". There is a video projector for showing of movies and slide programs in the hall.

The museum is engaged into the large exhibition work, both from its own fund and from imported rural exhibitions.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the settlement of Chistoozyornoye is 550 km by car. One can get from the Novosibirsk bus station (43a Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the village of Chistoozyornoye by bus on the route "Novosibirsk-Chistoozyornoye". One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina ul.) to the railway station "Chistoozyornaya" by train on the route "Novosibirsk-Kulunda".
