Буддийский дацан
"Understanding and rapprochement of peoples begins from the moment when each person begins to understand the culture of the neighboring people – in order to harmonize, to understand people... this requires churches, Buddhist Lamaist temples, Muslim mosques".
Lamaist temple is the complex consisting of individual dugans. In a broader sense, Lamaist temple is the Institute, and dugan is a faculty at the Institute. The architecture of the temple symbolizes the divine body of the Buddha. The main Buddhist center in Russia is considered to be Ivolginsky Lamaist temple in the village of Verkhnyaya Ivolga (Republic of Buryatiya).
The religious organization of Buddhists "Rinchin" appeared in the city of Novosibirsk almost 10 years ago. In 2012, the construction of the Lamaist temple began with the first private donations from the Buryatiya residents.
Currently, the eight-walled Sakhyusan dugan stands in the territory of the Buddhist temple. On June 6, 2015, it was inaugurated, i.e. it was consecrated with a prayer service.
There are 2 yurts in the territory of the Buddhist temple. One can visually get acquainted with the life and culture of nomadic peoples, visit the reception of a specialist in Tibetan medicine and try the Buryatiya national dish, i.e. Buuz.
In Lamaist temple the pulse therapist (pulse diagnostics, phytotherapy) conducts reception.
Work pattern: daily from 10:00 till 20:00 without lunch. Admission is free. Anyone can visit it, regardless of religion. There are no special requirements for clothes. One can't live in Lamaist temple.
