Monument in honor of V.I. Lenin at the building of Administration of Leninsky district

Monument in honor of V.I. Lenin opposite the building of the Administration of the Leninsky district of the city of Novosibirsk (Leninsky District Committee) was installed, presumably, after December 9, 1970, when due to the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR left-bank part of the city was divided into two administrative districts, i.e. Kirovsky and Leninsky districts.

The monument is the casting of the famous work of sculptor S.D. Merkulov, installed on the channel in the name of the city of Moscow in 1937.
