Memorial Cross on the site of St. Nicholas Church in the village of Bolshoye Krivoshchyokovo
The cross of worship on the site of the St. Nicholas Church of the village of Bolshoye Krivoshchyokovo was installed by the participants of the forum "Novosibirsk in photo-captions" in 2012 at their own expense. The group of local historians included both representatives of institutions and amateur historians. The installation of the cross was attended by the Cossacks of the Novosibirsk Republican Cossack Society headed by Andrei Sergeevich Galkin. The cross was erected in memory of residents who founded the village of Bolshoye Krivoshchyokovo in about 1710. The St. Nicholas Church was built in 1881, moved to the village of Bugry in 1893 in connection with the construction of the railway bridge.
After installation, the cross was not consecrated. The object is registered in the Ministry of Culture of the Novosibirsk region. The graves of the first settlers in the village of Bolshoye Krivoshchyokovo were found here.
