Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Kuybyshev

The Catholic Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was built in 4 days by a group of volunteers from Germany upon the request of the local community of believers. The consecration took place on the feast day of Pentecost on May 23, 1999.

The church possesses two Greek icons of the main patrons, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Believers are given the relics of the Apostles for veneration.

The church has a permanent priest living in the nearby Parish House. It hosts church holidays, children's and youth meetings. Social assistance to low-income citizens is also provided.

How to get there: the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the city of Kuybyshev is 330 km by car.
One can get from the railway station "Novosibirsk-Main" (43 Dmitriya Shamshurina str.) to the city of Barabinsk by suburban train. There is a bus on the route "Novosibirsk–the village of Severnoye" from the Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the city of Barabinsk as well. And then, it is necessary to make a change for the bus No. 172 "Barabinsk-Kuybyshev" or route taxi "Barabinsk-Kuybyshev" to the stop "Square of V.V. Kuybyshev", then, on foot along the Kuybysheva street to the house No. 4.
