Cinema Hall "Cinema"

The Cinema "Cinema" is the small and cozy cinema, designed for 77 seats. The cinema hall exists at State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the Novosibirsk region "Novosibirskkinovideoprokat" and is located between the stops "Bus terminal" and "Sverdlova square" ("Sibrevkom"), in 150 m from Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

The film clubs of different directions and formats have been constantly working on the basis of the cinema since the late 90-ies. They include the following film clubs: "Golden fund" of cinema, novelties of recent years, films in the original language and much more.

"Cinema" differs from modern cinemas in that here one can see both novelties and classics of world cinema, non-commercial films, cult films, and film rarities.

The cinema hall hosts film festivals of different countries of the world such as: Germany, Argentina, Sweden, India, Belarus, France, Israel and many others.

"Sibirskkinovideoprokat" is the organizer of the regional festival "Russia is strong with Siberia", co-organizer of the international documentary film festival "Meetings in Siberia" and other city and international film festivals.

The cinema works with educational institutions such as: schools, gymnasiums, and colleges, conducting film lectures on literary works of the school program and educational video quiz.
