Recreation Facility "Danilovo lake"

Danilovo lake is one of the most famous small lakes of the Novosibirsk region. According to legend, it was formed as a result of the fall of a meteorite. Due to its origin the lake has an amazing property: its purest water contains abnormally large amounts of silver.

The water is very clear, at a depth of 3-5 m the bottom is visible, in shallow water flocks of fish fry are visible. By mid-June, it warms up well, and favorable conditions are created not only for swimming, but also for scuba diving.

There is the clay quarry of green-bluish color, which is used for medicinal and cosmetic purposes there on the shore of the lake. The water also has healing properties due to its high silver content. Infusions and decoctions made from Danilovo water have great efficiency, and water rejuvenates the body well. It helps not only in the treatment of skin diseases, but also from toothache. This water even treats cancer.

There is a recreation area next to the lake. Tents and campsites are located along the whole southern sandy shore. Tourists come from the Omsk, Novosibirsk regions, as well as from other regions of Siberia. One can meet foreigners there. After exploring the surroundings of Danilovo lake , guests can take a steam bath in the real Russian bath with birch bath brooms. The rental office provides tents for different number of seats, sports equipment. Fishing is available here. People fish pike, perch, red-eye, tench.

Location: Kyshtovsky district, at a distance of 12 km from the village of Malokrasnoyarka of Kyshtovsky district and about 1 km from the village of Kurganka of Muromtsevsky district of Omsk region, Novosibirsk region

How to get there: the distance from the village of Kyshtovka (district center of Kyshtovsky district) to the lake Danilovo is 64 km by car, the distance from the city of Novosibirsk to the lake is 660 km by car (to the village of Malokrasnoyarka of Kyshtovsky district and 10 km along the forest road to the lake).
There is a bus service from the Novosibirsk bus station (4 Krasny avenue) to the village of Kyshtovka. There is also a bus from the village of Kyshtovka to the village of Malokrasnoyarka. One can get from the village of Malokrasnoyarka to the lake Danilovo by taxi, in addition, there is a taxi from the village of Kyshtovka to the lake.
